Abstract

The transfer reaction p(8He,d)7He with the exotic 8He-beam has been studied by correlational measurements, and an excited state of 7He was observed. Most likely, it has a structure with a neutron in an excited state coupled to the 6He-core which itself is in the excited 2+-state. The transfer reaction P(8He,2He)7H was also studied, and manifestation on the possible existence of the resonance 7H was obtained.
