Event-triggered dynamic L2 controller design for linear systems with quantized feedback

Abstract

This paper investigates the finite-gain L2 stability problem based on event-triggered quantized feedback control for linear systems by using dynamic output-feedback controller. A time delay system method is adopted to deal with the periodic event-triggered control system. Sufficient event-triggered conditions to guarantee the finite-gain L2 stability of the system with exogenous disturbances have been proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities when an infinite-level logarithmic quantizer is utilized. Besides, a quantizer of finite levels is designed associated with the event conditions, by which an ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system can be achieved. Moreover, the explicit expression of the dynamic controller has been given. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the feasibility and efficiency of the theoretical results.
