Abstract

A computationally efficient lattice-reduction (LR)-based list detection is studied to reduce a large MIMO detection problem into multiple small sub-detection problems. Based on the error probability analysis, a column reordering criteria (CRC) for channel matrices is studied to improve performance. It is shown that, by employing the proposed CRC, a significant performance improvement can be obtained with a low complexity.
