Abstract

The factors that affect the machining precision of the two couple vertical coaxial holes of the gyroscope frame are complex, and there is no effective integrated evaluation method in practice. Based on homogeneous coordinate transformation, a machining error model for the turntable of a coordinate boring machine is established, an error analysis tool which can quantify the major geometric tolerances of the turntable and quickly predict the machining error of the gyroscope frame is developed. The test results show that calculation errors are similar to the test data. The error model method submitted in the paper becomes the basis of the integral error model of the gyroscope frame machining systems.
