Abstract

This paper presents a SPICE-compatible equivalent circuit model extracted from frequency-domain responses fit by rational functions for applications with external field coupling effect. The circuit model includes RLC elements to represent the passive characteristics, and current/voltage sources to represent the external field coupling effect. All the elements in this model are frequency-independent to reduce the complexity. The proposed model is validated on two cases - a dipole antenna and a transmission line.
