Abstract

On the basis of analysis of all indices of an engine, the indices of engine general performance and sub-performances were given. The performance evaluation model for a tank engine was built up using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) comprehensive evaluation. An example for practical evaluation was given. It provides a new method for correct evaluation of engine performance.
