Abstract
An energy-loss calculation method has been developed for steam turbines based on unified models and calculation rules, in which simplified model for each component of thermal power plant was first established by linearizing all the components at their working point, and then calculation rules for energy-loss analysis were proposed that should be obeyed during all calculation processes. Taking four steam parameters as an example, a detail explanation is presented to how to use the models and rules. Actual application results show that via the method based on unified models and calculation rules, fast and clear calculation may be obtained for steam turbines under variable working conditions, which therefore may serve as a reference for similar energy-loss calculation.
