Abstract

In this paper, a real-time emulation system scheme using power electronic technology is proposed for the electrical characteristics emulation of the actual electric-hydrostatic actuator (EHA) in four quadrant operation, which can replace the EHA system for electrical characteristics test of the integrated energy management strategy of aircraft electrical power system. The real-time emulation system scheme of the EHA is proposed, which consists of bidirectional DC -DC converter, the energy release module, the bidirectional energy control strategy and the EHA system solution model. Furthermore, to guarantee the emulation accuracy, the EHA discrete model is established, while the error analysis of the discrete step and numerical solution method are conducted. The proposed EHA emulation system has the excellent electrical characteristics emulation performance for the actual EHA system, which is also verified by the simulation.
