Abstract

In this paper, an approach to accurately and efficiently evaluate the Exp type of functions is proposed. In this approach, an adaptive interpolation table is carefully designed based on the function variations. Then, the linear function is used to interpolate the Exp(-jkr) values and the Lagrange polynomial for the Green function Exp(-jkr)/r. An efficient method of moment solver is developed incorporated with the proposed approach to model the integrated circuits. Numerical results show that the proposed method can save over 20% CPU time without sacrificing the accuracy.
