Effects of antilock braking system on driving behavior under emergent

Abstract

In the paper, we propose a car-following model to explore the impacts of ABS (antilock braking system) on driving behavior under emergent situations. Numerical results show that the proposed model can improve safety performance of traffic under some specific traffic states.
