Abstract

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarms need to exert their mission capabilities to complete a variety of collaborative missions in complex and changeable mission environment, which put forward higher requirements for the effectiveness evaluation of UAV swarms. Therefore, a UAV swarm effectiveness evaluation method considering mission process is proposed in this paper. This method establishes a network indicators system based on the capability generation mechanism of the UAV swarm system, models the UAV swarm through complex network model, studies the generation mechanism of emerging capability combined with mission process analysis, and then evaluates the UAV swarm effectiveness. The effectiveness indicators system and evaluation method can provide quantitative basis for the UAV swarm optimization strategy, and lay a reliable foundation for improving mission execution method and mission effect.
