Effect of unsteady cooperative flow on the dynamic response in the rotor of axial compressor

Abstract

Whether the unsteady cooperative flow could induce the dynamic response problem of the rotors" was expatiated in this article. Based on the existing result and modal analysis for spectrum analyzer of three-dimensional unsteady CFD (computational fluid dynamics), the foregoing question was researched by adjusting the wakes of front stator vane. The result of the computation shows that the properly-adjusted number of stators can maximize the unsteady potential while avoiding the sympathetic vibration of the rotors.
