Abstract
Magnetoelectric coupling effect is one of the complex electromagnetic properties in materials. In this research, the effect of magnetoelectric coupling on nanoscale thermal radiation is investigated. In the framework of fluctuational electrodynamics, we derive the formula of nanoscale thermal radiation between two media with magnetoelectric coupling. It shows that the spectrum of nanoscale thermal radiation is strongly influenced in the presence of magnetoelectric coupling effect due to the contribution chirality-dependent surface waves.
