Abstract

A novel approach combining the sliding mode control (SMC) and extended state observer (ESO) is proposed for attitude control of an early warning satellite model which is non-linear in dynamics. The sliding mode controller is designed to guarantee the state variables of the closed-loop system to converge to the reference state with the help of the ESO by estimating the unknown disturbance. Then, simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.
