Dynamics model of landing process for parachute simulator

Abstract

The traditional way of training paratrooper has limited effect, due to lack of the feeling in the air. But we can solve this problem by using virtual reality technology to build a parachute simulator. And ensure to provide a true feeling, the work of modeling the landing process of the parachute is crucial. In this paper we divide the parachute landing process into four stages and model separately, and propose a model of the parachute landing process which can be used to parachute simulator.
