Abstract
The implementation of run-time infrastructure (RTI) is the hot topic of HLA research. In this paper, the design of a new RTI called DVE-RTI is given, and its architecture is distributed and loosely coupled. In order to utilize network resource more efficiently, it filters interaction data via logical data channel, which is based on IP multicast. This design makes the whole distributed application system based on DVE-RTI more extensible and maintainable. Furthermore, one protocol between DVE-RTIs is proposed, which could also be used to connect RTIs of different vendors.
