Abstract

In this paper, a novel dual-polarized wideband Vivaldi antenna is proposed. The antenna is a dual-polarized antenna composed of four Vivaldi antenna units. The whole antenna is symmetrical and uses antiphase feeding. In this way, the performance of high isolation and low cross-polarization can be obtained. The dual-polarized antenna can be well matched within 1 decade. It can operate in the frequency band from 0.7GHz to 7GHz. The port isolation is greater than 39dB, and the cross-polarization ratio is less than-34dB in the whole band.
