Abstract
The axially symmetric low-density flow-field of a small nozzle used for changing the attitude of satellite was simulated by using the DSMC method, and the obtained results were compared with the ones from solving the N-S equations by using the differential method with good agreement. The method presented is of significance to the design of rocket motor for controlling the attitude of communication satellites and space station.
