Abstract

For Doppler ambiguity resolution of pulse Doppler (PD) radar with low pulse repetition frequency (PRF), a Doppler ambiguity resolution method with spectral analysis of nonuniformly sampled data is presented. By using the time domain characteristic of nonuniformly spaced data collected during the coherent processing interval (CPI) of multiple PRF systems, a new improved complex value iterative adaptive approach (CIAA) is adopted to directly estimate the response of Doppler spectrum without ambiguity. The algorithm is validated through simulation results of resolving Doppler ambiguity in multiple target situations for the grouping staggered multiple PRF radar system.
