Abstract

The future battlefield environment will be of high antagonism, uncertainty and dynamics, where manned/unmanned aerial vehicle (MAV/UAV) cooperative detection becomes more and more important in air battle mode. Considering the complexity and inhomogeneity of the MAV/UAV cooperative system, it is necessary to carry out toplevel design for the entire combat system from the perspective of system engineering and adopt a unified framework. Firstly, the department of defense architecture framework (DoDAF) is introduced to verify the logical self-consistency through the generated executable model, which completes the modeling and simulation of MAV/UAV cooperative detection architecture. Secondly, in order to realize interconnection with system logic model, the deployment of battlefield forces is deduced and analyzed using system tool kit (STK) software. Finally, in this paper, we fulfill the joint simulation between STK and DoDAF models and validate the consistency between the logical model and operational scenarios. Our method is proved valuable for the top-level design of MAV/UAV cooperative detection system, which also becomes a typical reference of joint simulation between DoDAF and STK.
