Abstract

In this paper, a retrieval algorithm was proposed and applied to recover non-uniform temperature distributions via tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS). Histogram data from four projection angles were used. The proposed algorithm was applied to determine the spatial location of the temperature from its histograms. The temperature binning method was used to obtain histograms from the simulated temperature distributions. Different cases of temperature distributions were reconstructed and evaluated. The simulated results validated the feasibility of the algorithm.
