N2 - Control of chaotic systems has attracted increased interests recently. This paper proposes a new simplex-annealing strategy, which is highly effective on the optimization of high dimensional functions, to direct the orbits of discrete chaotic dynamical systems towards desired target region within a short time by applying only small bounded perturbations. The synchronization of chaotic systems is also considered, which can be dealt with as a problem of directing orbits. The numerical-simulations on Hénon Map demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
