Abstract

With the development of intelligent compaction, online monitoring of relevant parameters during the asphalt compaction process has higher demand. An online parameter monitoring system for asphalt pavement compaction is designed and implemented to meet this requirement. During the compaction process, the system realized real-time collection and uploading of compaction parameters, including vibration feedback signals, compaction temperature, vehicle positioning, and vehicle speed. It uses MEMS sensor technology, RTK high-precision positioning, and wireless network communication technology. Firstly, the parameters to be collected are analyzed and introduced. Then, the system's architecture, design, and implementation are described in detail. Finally, the system is tested at the actual construction site, and the reliability and usability of the system are verified.
