Abstract

According to the requirements of flight simulator, the flight simulation system was constructed. The system includes the module of six degree freedom equation, aerodynamic coefficient, the engine, the landing gear, environment, force and moment on body axis, and so on. The system could display the current state of the aircraft according to the input of joystick. The dead zone setting method was used to solve the problem of the singular point. The trim method of genetic algorithm made the initial flight state closer to the equilibrium point. The function of each module was then programmed on the development environment of Simulink. Finally, the constant linear, hover, tumbling were simulated based on the trim point. The result shows that the initial states of simulation are closer to the equilibrium point, the calculation is stable, which overcomes the singularity problems of flight dynamics simulation, and the system can reflect the aircraft real characteristics.
