Abstract

In order to settle the eyeballing error of jet fuel clean class evaluation which is a difficult problem in fuel production factories, a filtrate characteristics experimental device which aims to simulate the practical filtration installation for suspended impurity in jet fuel was developed. Based on the standard filter resemble principle, the filtration precision, flux and pressure-difference of the developed filtrate characteristics experimental device were designed to correspond to the practical filtration installation. In the level 5-9, the NAS1638 oil clean class detected by Abakus C particulates counter could be used to substitute the ΓOCT17216 oil clean class detected by PK ZH-904 A particulates counter. Reliability and correlation to the practical filtration installation was tested, and mechanism of filtration was suggested. The results show that the developed filtrate characteristics experimental device achieves the design parameters, and the device is suitable to the simulation evaluation of jet fuel clean class in the process of storage, transportation and quality management.
