Development of electromechanical actuators

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The electromechanical actuator (EMA) represents such a class of position servo systems, which directly or indirectly control the motion of load by servomotors or electric devices. This paper summarizes the application, the history of structure evolvement and the key technology development of EMA, and introduces the developing trends of EMA. Based on the summaries and analysis, some suggestions are presented on future EMA research and development in the application to aircraft.
