Abstract
A management system based on DSP processor for Li-ion battery series has been developed in this study. The DSP processor is used as its kernel processor. Also, the sampling circuit, the communication interface and the control interface are designed. The battery management system has the capabilities in detecting the voltage of every battery in the series, the total voltage of the series, the current flowing through the series and the temperature around the series, etc; predicting the battery series' state of charge (SOC); communicating with computer, and then PC detective and display. The system is simple in configuration and convenience in manipulation. The system operates well in practice and meets the requirements.
