Abstract

This paper discusses the design of distributed control gains for consensus in multiagent systems with second-order nonlinear dynamics. An effective distributed adaptive strategy on the control gains is developed for reaching consensus based only on local information of the network structure. A simulation example is given to illustrate the theoretical analysis.
