Abstract
To deal with model base management problem in workshop production scheduling system, by considering both the general requirements for model management of decision support system and the specific features of production scheduling algorithm, and by adopting the object-oriented modeling technology, a kind of reusable model base architecture for production scheduling systems was proposed Taking advantages of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), with reference to various developed scheduling models and algorithms, a set of automatic matching and generation scheme for algorithm model was constructed. Scheduling problems were optimized by the generated model. A simulation procedure was introduced to validate the optimization results, and optimization model was adjusted by information feedback. The effectiveness of the proposed architecture was demonstrated by the implementation of modeling process using unified modeling language (UML).
