Abstract
This paper introduces a design of 10-20 MHz RF power supply for focused ultrasonic micro-jetting piezoelectric transducer in biological micro-arrays. This RF supply is based on DDS technology and produces a spectrally pure, frequency/phase programmable, amplitude adjustable, high output tuning resolution, analog output stable sine wave. And a simple low-cost practicable pulse modulation method is achieved by a video amplifier with shutdown. At the power stage, a two-stage transformer coupled push-pull RF amplifier is applied and generates the output required power of pulse modulation.
