Abstract

In this paper, the development of a portable high-speed data acquisition system based on FPGA and ARM9 CPU for transmission lines transient measurements is discussed. To facilitate the follow-up data processing and transmission, high-speed AD 100MHz output data is first processed through SERDES in order to decrease the signal frequency inside FPGA which is achieved through FIFO data buffer, AD control, SDRAM control functions etc. Finally, the data is stored in SDRAM of FPGA and transmitted over the network through ARM controller to the remote computer for offline processing. Then experiments were carried out on the parameters of the phenomenon of corona research??and the parameters were obtained and analyzed. This system has the merits of high reliability, high integration level, small size and so on, and has broad application prospects.
