Abstract

Antenna is one of the key front-end components of wireless communication system and the radar system. A K-band slotted ridge waveguide antenna arrays based on radar-communication integration, consist of a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna, is designed and measured. The relationship between the slot admittance, offset distance and resonant length of slot is analyzed. Combined with the slot antenna design theory and software simulation, a single waveguide transmitting antenna and a 32-waveguides receiving antenna are designed, which each have 6 slots. The performance of antenna is measured, and results and simulation is essentially same.
