N2 - A four-channel automatic test system for two kinds of servos is presented in this paper. The main characteristics measured are zero position deviation, transfer coefficient, degree of linearity, time-domain characteristic, frequency-domain characteristic, and maximum output torque. For the simulation of practical loads on servo, a platform that employed with torsional spring was developed. The realization of controlling the test was developed by the host computer, programmed with LabVIEW, as well as by DSP with C language under CCStudio3.3 environment. Emphasis is placed on the massive system structure including hardware system structure and software. The results obtained by applying the system are presented and discussed at the end.
