Abstract

The paper describes a design of commercial vehicle monitoring system (CVSM) which can help to promote transportation safety and improve traffic efficiency. To meet the demand of practical application, we analyze functional requirements and set the general objective and basic routes of system design. The structure design consists of three main parts, namely, on-board terminal design, mobile application development and abnormal driving behavior detection. The real-time performance, reliability, and stability of the system are verified through experiments.
