Abstract

A method to realize the data processor of an airborne multiple target tracking radar is presented. The data processor is realized by a digital processing chip TMS320C30. The input data is the data of the radar echo which is collected, detected and estimated for the targets' locating parameters. Under the laboratory environment and when the signal-to-noise rate (SNR) is 3:1, the range estimate error with this data processor for the target at the range of 100 km is 50 m, and the azimuth estimate error is achieved to one thirtieth of beam width.
