Abstract
This paper presents a POS data acquisition and processing system based on double DSP. This system utilizes FPGA to acquire multi-channel pulses of IMU and receive GPS data simultaneously. One special DSP is adopted to realize error compensation of IMU, unpack GPS data and time synchronization between IMU data and GPS data. The other high performance DSP is used to execute integrated navigation algorithm. The HPI interface between two DSP is employed to achieve high-speed data transmission. The raw data and processed results are output through Ethernet. Finally, the dynamic experiments of POS are carried out on a test car. The result shows that this POS data acquisition and processing system can ensure system precision and enhance real-time performance, and the design requirement is achieved.
