Abstract

The development of fuel measuring system for aircraft is analyzed, the structure of centralized fuel measuring system is introduced, and the general design for a centralized fuel measuring system is presented from the viewpoint of reliability. Furthermore, a fault-tolerant design based on dual single-chip computer for central measuring unit is given. The principle of fault monitoring, the strategy and process of system reconstructing for the fault-tolerant dual system are emphasized. The schematic diagram of hardware and software for fault monitoring and system switching is given. The method can be used in other common computerized measurement or control system.
