Abstract
Due to the complexity involved in evaluating the quality and quantifying the indicators of the assembly process for complex mechanical products, this paper develops a comprehensive evaluation method based on multi-level gray relational analysis (GRA). Firstly, from the perspective of the physical structure of complex product assembly, the development and evaluation characteristics of the assembly process are summarized. On this basis, the theory and methodology for index system construction and comprehensive quality evaluation are discussed in detail. Secondly, by integrating assembly process information, evaluation algorithms, and concepts for building an information platform, a new general framework for the comprehensive quality evaluation of complex aviation product assembly processes is proposed. Then, using the helicopter rotor system assembly process as a case study, a multi-level GRA evaluation scheme, integrating both subjective and objective weights, is designed, providing new ideas and methods for multi-dimensional quality evaluation of complex products. Finally, a comprehensive quality evaluation platform (CQEP) for the rotor system assembly process is designed and implemented, which integrates multi-type data acquisition, evaluation algorithm implementation, and visual display. Additionally, using the same test set, a comparison experiment of evaluation algorithms was conducted alongside the platform. Results comparison shows that the predicted evaluation scores from the proposed algorithm are closer to actual scores in terms of accuracy and convergence, aligning more closely with expert evaluation standards.
