Abstract
To improve the temperature control reliability of spacecraft thermal control system, a self-adaption temperature control cold plate was designed based on the volume change characteristics of the paraffin wax due to the phase-change as its temperature changed. The design model of the self-adaption temperature control cold plate was built, and the thermal net model of the single phase fluid loop with the cool plate was given. The performance of the cold plate and the single phase fluid loop was analyzed. Results show that the cold plate designed has the ability of self-adaption temperature control, and it may be widely used in the temperature control for the electronic devices at ground and heat loads on spacecraft.
