Abstract

Load Simulator is a very popular machine as hardware-in-loop simulation equipment in many scientific fields recently. As to mechanical structure, dynamic performance is one of the most important factors to evaluate a load simulator and it is a difficult job for design as well. This paper presents a kind of hydraulic load simulator to meet the requirements of rocket study and harmonic response analysis, which can provide guidance for the design of the Load Simulator structure, is carried out to reveal the probable first- and second-resonance frequency with mode superposition method with the assistance of the finite element software. The results indicate that the proposed method is feasible and efficient.
