Abstract

Design of the stamping part for automobile panel is researched. It mostly includes the design method and rule of stamping direction, binder and addendum. Control section lines of addendum adopted usually are summed. The stamping part of vehicle covering is designed, and its forming process is analyzed by finite element method. The optimal blank is obtained. The result indicated that the designed stamping part has good forming ability, and the product is manufactured.
