Abstract
To deal with adverse influence from incomplete, uncertain and uncoordinated requirement information on Quality Function Deployment (QFD), a requirement analysis method based on Theory of Grey System (TGS) was brought forward. Since TGS was characterized by dealing with uncertain problems with small sample and insufficient information, customer requirements' regularities based on incomplete data modeling through grey sequence operator was explored. Redundant demand information was wiped off with method of clustering through Grey Absolute Incidence Matrix (GAIM). Based on these, advantage analysis was conducted with the combination of grey clustering results and corresponding engineering measures, and the sequence relationship of customer demands were obtained by constructing GAIM composed of customer demands and engineering measures. This method provided a new approach for analyzing and determining customer demands and their weight in QFD. The method's application was demonstrated by large-scale deep cooling air-separating plant's demand analysis.
