Abstract

7055 aluminum alloy was studied by creep tests, and the effect of creep-aging on microstructure and mechanical properties under different stress levels at 155°C was analyzed. The unified creep-aging constitutive model based on Kowalewski's creep strain constitutive model, was established to describe the alloy creep behavior better by precipitation phase model and precipitated phase strengthening model. Material parameters of constitutive equation were determined by genetic algorithm.
