Abstract

Corrosion failure features of stress corrosion cricking (SCC) and CF were generalized through analysis and summarization on the mechanical equipment corrosion failure cases and the existing failure information, COM Wizard, data base technique, reliability engineering were applied to construct effective corrosion failure diagnosis expert system. CF modes of real cases were analysized in the expert system through the corrosion failure feature inputs and the results were listed by general certainty factor as the evaluation parameter.
