Abstract

Bolted joints are widely used in aircraft, and are prone to stress corrosion in complex operating environments, posing a serious threat to the safe and reliable operation of aircraft. This paper uses piezoelectric sensors, which have advantages such as large-area scanning, and proposes a Lamb wave-based lap joint structure weighted fusion corrosion damage imaging method. This algorithm overcomes the problem of large damage localization errors in multi-damage structures encountered by traditional Reconstruction Algorithm. The test results show that the average error of the proposed method for locating double-hole damage is 5.9 mm, providing a solution for the precise localization of corrosion damage in lap joints.
