Abstract

In our paper "Probing and Controlling Surface Passivation of PbS Quantum Dot Solid for Improved Performance of Infrared Absorbing Solar Cells", we made mistakes in the reference numbering in Section 2.2, Photoelectron Spectroscopy, and in the experimental section about photoelectron spectroscopy. In Section 2.2 on page 4083−4084, the references in the following text should be changed as noted below: S 2p3/2 at approximately 164 eV can be assigned to sulfur bonded to carbon and hydrogen in agreement with literature. (38 should instead be 39). Consequently, we assign the sulfur doublet in between these two (S 2p3/2: 162−162.5 eV) to sulfur bonded to both Pb and C or H.(40 should instead be 4 and 40) Finally, we also see sulfur peaks at higher binding energies for the measurements with soft X-rays. These peaks have been assigned to sulfur bonded to oxygen in different configurations.(38 should instead be 39 and 41) In the PES Measurement part of the Experimental Section on page 4089, there is one error in the numbering of the references, which should be changed as noted in the text below: PES Measurement. Soft X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was carried out at the LowDosePES endstation at the PM4 beamline at BESSY II (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, HZB), (52,53 should instead be 53 only) while the synchrotron was operated in single-bunch mode with a ring current of 15 mA. The correct references are below, with 1 corresponding to ref 4 from the article, 2 corresponding to ref 39 from the article, 3 corresponding to ref 40 from the article, 4 corresponding to ref 41 from the article, and 5 corresponding to ref 53 from the article.
