Abstract
The controller of electric PTZ(Pan /Tilt /Zoom) are analyzed and a controller of multifunctional electric PTZ is designed based on ATMEGA128L, which is introduced in the control system, hardware & software design, reliability design and function realization. It applies the real-time open-loop control of the video surveillance equipments. Measures in the reliability improvement of communication and chip working and the power-down protection are provided to ensure the reliability of system operation.
