Abstract

The general problem of control synthesis for nonlinear systems with two time scales is examined. We attempt to unify the approaches taken in various previous work in one framework, extend the scope of applications to a more general class of problems, and formalize the control synthesis and stability analysis procedure. Demonstration of the approach is given by an entry trajectory control application for the X-33.
