Abstract
Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) is a revolutionary development of simulation technology, which has been playing an important role in the area of synthetic warfare environment simulation and military training exercise involved multi-force and multi-platform. Computer Generated Forces (CGF) is a key technique to compose such a complicated system. First of all, the importance and characteristics of configuring CGF systems are presented in this paper, then the framework and configuration of in-Air CGF and Ground CGF systems used in the attack-defence DIS system are explained. At last, main CGF simulation entities (Radar, missile and intelligent digital aircraft) are described, including models, features and simulation results.
