Compensation for pressure vibration in torque load simulator based on secondary control principle

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The torque load simulator has the advantages of continuous rotary with high velocity and incxistence of extraneous torque. In the constant pressure network, the torque output of secondary unit is proportional to the angle of its swash plate angle. That is, the vibration of system pressure can lead to the instability of the output torque. The reason of pressure change may be the vibration of the oil source, but the main reason is the change of the load. The detail mathematical model is built to make a simulation research influence and compensation for the pressure vibration. In order to improve the torque trace accuracy, the swash plate angle sensor and system pressure sensor are used to compensate for the pressure vibration. Simulation and experiments can verify that the influence can be suppressed to about 20%. The simulation and experiments verify the validity.
